The Ancient City Pirates 8U baseball team is a competitive tournament baseball team.  As an 8 and under team, the Pirates will play in Kid Pitch, Coach Pitch, and Machine or "Sling" Pitch games or tournaments until August 1st. 

After August 1st, the team will be a 9U team and will play in kid pitch games and tournaments.

The Goal of the team is to play quality competitive baseball while continuously improving skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship.  Players must be hard working, dedicated baseball players with the goal of continuously developing their talents. 

The team just completed a month of workouts and had two tryout sessions on April 14th and 15th.  The team has now been selected and is ready to hit the ground running with a roster full of very talented and hard working baseball players.

The Pirates are currently practicing one day per week and will play local games or tournaments approximately 2 times per month.  Out of town tournaments will be limited.  Pirate players are allowed to also play in their local recreational leagues such as Little League, Cal Ripken, Babe Ruth, etc. At the conclusion of the little league season, the Pirates will begin practicing two times per week.
